Therapy for the thoughtful doer.

Stopping inner double dutch for women in the DC metro

Once upon a dream, you played out how your life would be.

The kick-ass job, the handsome partner, married by 26, a crazy kid or two.

And you’ve been dutifully following the path laid out for you, and with flying colors I might add:

A sky high Grade Point Average (pssh a 4.0 is for the birds, try 4.3)

Top 50 college of choice (Duke, Northeastern, UMD- world was your oyster, Amiright?)

Collecting more letters after your name than Hermoine has books)

PLOT TWIST

You’ve spent decades sculpting your life into a masterpiece that could kick it in the Louvre.

What Our Clients Say

Beautiful.

Strong.

No one would think your inner life would be anything other than picturesque.

star icon 3

Everyone would have totally gotten your senior superlative wrong. While “Most Likely to Succeed” might apply to your career.

You internal landscape would win,
“Most Likely to feel like a dumpster fire”.

But let’s not just sit here thinking it’s “fine”, after all you’re here for me to help you figure out what the heck is going on now.

So, let’s chat a bit more about the life that’s not so picturesque…

Ok, You got me.

When you come into session with me, here’s how we roll:

The Official Unwritten Rules of Therapy:

1

We call things what they are–which means if something is shit, we call it shit. If something makes us cry, we grab the good tissues.

3

We explore with a curious, “let’s see what shows up” attitude, not worrying about right or wrong. No judgment. We’re peeling back the layers of your inner world together, no pressure, just discovery of what is.

2

All your favorite dynamic duos show up:  Levity and sincerity, mind and body, accountability and compassion. You’ll hear mentions of memes and cheeky comments while we mine the depths of what it means to be human.

4

Slowing down is step one to tuning into your body and inner voice. I’ll be right there with you, checking in with my own knowing. And if yours feels lost? No worries, we’ll restore it, piece by piece, together.

5

You’re the expert on you. While I know a thing or two, ultimately I’m a partner in exploring the uncharted corners of your heart.

Somatic Therapist DC Metro

Hey There 👋

I'm Nicole.

( Sensitive Soul, Animal Lover, INFP and Enneagram 4)

I’m a professional pointer outer of possibilities (aka LMFT).

You could also say I’m an explorer of realms beneath the skin where truths find their space, meaning I’ll be looking as much at what your body is telling about the story as your mind is.

Working with women who are the living breathing version of the “Giving Tree”, who are smart but neglect intuition are my jam. Why? I’ve been there, inwardly burning myself down trying to make sure everything is as I envisioned it on the outside.

That shit is exhausting. Becoming smaller and smaller until you’re unrecognizable. Somehow how I channeled my inner phoenix. Curious how?

If you’re ready to actually enjoy your life and not just strive for it, then this is for you.

Even if we never work together, here are things I think you gotta know.

When you stop hemming and hawing about everyone else’s needs, and start taking your own desires seriously, then you…

Say no with ease (a direct contrast to how much you want to puke your brains out right now), better yet, you say yes to all the things you want (like that tropical retreat you’ve been eyeing for years-even if you go by yourself!)

Feel into your power for the first time, and you’ll discover it feels damn good to not be under someone else’s thumb.

Are *that* girl. Iconic. A legend, and you are the moment. People are enchanted with you, not what you do for them.
